Tesla Roadster and Lotus Elise hold a family reunion

I just thought I would share these photos with you. Admittedly, I may as well have taken them with a potato, and I know they're pretty poor quality. But I hope the subject matter redeems them.

This smug little Lotus was parked right outside a Honey Pig somewhere in Maryland. I was making my way downtown to put some pork inside my face, and I came across this little asshole. The prime parking spot, the eye-burning yellow, this guy was here to make a scene. In a parking lot of mostly Toyotas and one supercharged Jag, the Lotus was certainly outshining its company.

But an hour later, my stomach now full of pig, on my way out I stumbled onto this motherfucker.

Look at these majestic fucks. Just look at them. Look how that Tesla had to one-up that Lotus.

Not one to be outdone, the Tesla parked right next to the Lotus, and I'm told the owners didn't know each other. With that snarky "no gas" license plate, the Roadster was clearly here to put the Lotus to some shame. Lame color, but still the first Roadster I've seen in person. The crowd around me is a much more sensible Model S type.

I just wanted to share this beautiful duo with you. Hope it warms some hearts the same way Korean barbeque can warm your stomach.
